Stromal vascular fraction (SVF)
SVF is the cell-containing fraction obtained from processed adipose tissue after the mature fat cells are removed. It is prepared from lipoaspirate and requires equipment and handling quite different from a blood draw.
In practice
SVF processing sits in a different regulatory and operational category from PRP and carries its own equipment requirements. Do not assume a PRP-capable room is SVF-capable.
