Orthobiologics
Orthobiologics is the umbrella term for biological preparations used in musculoskeletal treatment, covering platelet concentrates, bone marrow aspirate concentrate, and adipose-derived preparations. The term is broad enough to span preparations with very different evidence bases, regulatory positions, and equipment requirements. It is a category label, not a description of anything specific.
