# Lipoaspirate

Lipoaspirate is the adipose tissue removed by liposuction, and it is the starting material for adipose-derived preparations such as SVF. It requires cold-chain handling and processing equipment that a blood-only clinic will not have.

The step from PRP to adipose work is a substantial capital and workflow change, not an incremental one.
